Jessica Araysa-Galván is a 1st generation Hispanic artist currently based in Portland, Oregon. With a background in Stop Motion fabrication, Jessica most recently has worked as a Landscape Artist on LAIKA's upcoming film Wildwood. 
Jessica has experience working for stop motion shorts, live action films and theater production. She brings a wide range of skills to her work specializing in sewing, model making, props, 3d printing, painting, paper crafts and doll customs.  
Originally from the Bay Area, Jessica graduated from the Academy of Arts University in San Francisco with a BFA in Animation and Visual Effects with a focus in Stop motion fabrication. While at the Academy of Art Jessica's senior project was awarded 1st place in Stop Motion Spring Show 2020 and was a featured artist in Juxtapose Magazine.​​​​​​​
Jessica is currently open to work.
