Jessica Araysa-Galván is a Hispanic artist currently based in Portland, Oregon. With a background in Stop Motion fabrication, Jessica most recently has worked as a Landscape Artist on LAIKA's upcoming film "Wildwood."
Jessica has experience working in the film and performance art industry. She brings a wide range of skills to her work specializing in sewing, model making, prop making, 3D printing, scenic painting, paper crafts and doll customs.
Originally from the Bay Area, Jessica graduated from the Academy of Arts University in San Francisco with a BFA in Animation, and Visual Effects with a focus in Stop-Motion fabrication. While at the Academy of Art, Jessica's senior projects were awarded 1st place in the Stop Motion Spring Show 2020. She was also a featured artist in Juxtapose Magazine.
