Metal moth collection.Custom die for hydraulic press made to use on Death's-head hawkmoth body. Both pieces have a sterling silver bezel setting for jasper stones. The texture on Hawkmoth has been cut to design then hammered. Annealing frequently to soften the metal. (Luna Moth) design glued on metal and cut with a jeweler saw.
Ball and Socket Puppet Armature
Used Machining , metal lathe and soldering to make balls and socket armature. Hand saw and jeweler saw used to cut copper tubing and main body points. Mistakes I made was using a misaligned jeweler saw which made cutting straight lines almost impossible.
A bust sculpt of Sophia Loren. Modeled in oil clay after a Peter Emmerich illustration. Bust molded in a lay-up fashion. Laid on a WED clay bed, layering up urethane rubber, finishing with a hard plaster outer shell. Hydrocal cast.
Original cast (in grey) of Andrea Blasich maquette for Tonko House "The Dam Keeper". Taking Andrea's original sculpt and recreating it. Modeled in oil clay and molded in a blanket pour mold fashion.
Mask sculpt of the character Immortal Joe from the movie Mad Max: Fury Road. Mask was sculpted on HydroCal cast of my models face with monster clay. I life casted the model's face with Body Double silicon with a plaster cloth shell for reinforcement.
