Prop Maker- Sculpting, mold making and casting in silicon.
For this project I was responsible for sculpting, molding and casting a silicon bird fetus effected by the radioactive remains of Liberty Labs in San Francisco. The prop needed to look sickly, and be manipulated on film
I used Dragon Skin and platinum-cure silicones with plaster shell to fabricate a prop. I 3D printed a skeletal armature of a bird I purchased online which served as an anatomical structure for the clay sculpt. Because the film is shot in black and white prop was tinted in layers to ensure proper tonal contrast on camera.
